About me, Kesku

Hey, I’m Kesku — a UK-based student and hobbyist ML Engineer. I’ve spent the last few years helping build and moderate large-scale communities, most notably as a Senior Moderator at the OpenAI Discord, which reached a peak of 3/5 million members! I also previously worked at 2 AI startups over the past 2 years in SWE/AI roles (~1 year of experience in total).
I'm really passionate about AI, moderation, and digital spaces that feel both human and helpful. I'm also a full-time student (for now), and I try to keep things balanced between work, study, and occasionally touching grass. Or at least touching a controller.
In my spare time, I game a lot. Lifelong Minecraft player (since 2011), big fan of Yakuza, Zenless Zone Zero, Cyberpunk 2077, and GTA Online. I’ve also been known to rewrite moderation guides at 3AM.
"Kesku" is an acronym.
It stands for:
- Keep
- Everything
- Simple
- Keep
- Understanding
It’s a mindset I try to carry into everything I do: make things understandable, approachable, and clear. Especially when working in fast-moving, high-stakes communities where clarity makes all the difference.
You can find me on Twitter, GitHub, and Discord (kesku

It’s mostly vibes. I ramble about tech, life, and whatever weird project I’ve picked up that week. I’m not trying to be a thought leader. I'm just a guy with a keyboard and way too many browser tabs.
